Village Theatre announced four new musicals selected for its Festival of New Musicals in Issaquah, WA, including WIDOWS, LOVE IS DEAD, JET CITY IMPROV PRESENTS: AN IMPROVISED MUSICAL!, and LET ME FLY.

Korean musical Let Me Fly is beginning early Broadway theater scouting, according to Gordon Cox’s Jaques newsletter, as South Korean producers push to expand their presence on Broadway.

It was previously announced that Netflix picked up the new Young Adult Romantic Comedy Series XO, Kitty, a spinoff from Awesomeness Studios and ACE Entertainment inspired by the popular To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film franchise and New York Times best-selling book series by Jenny Han with Anna Cathcart set to reprise her role as “Kitty.” Han (Creator) and Sascha Rothchild are serving as Co-Showrunners and Executive Producers alongside fellow Executive Producer Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment.

The cast includes Michael K. Lee as Jesus Christ, Ramin Karimloo as Judas Iscariot, Celinde Schoenmaker as Mary Magdalene, Masaaki Fujioka as King Herod, Hironobu Miyahara(LE VELVETS) as Caiaphas, Telly Leung as Peter, Robert Marien as Pontius Pilate, Hayato Kakizawa as Simon Zealotes, and Aaron Walpole as Annas.
