Casting has been announced for the UK concert premiere of the new musical ‘I Dream', which will be staged at The Other Palace on Monday 27 April at 3pm and 7:30pm.

In February, the Tron Theatre will host Wonder Fools in a compelling production of David Greig's acclaimed play THE EVENTS. This collaboration with Cumbernauld Theatre explores community resilience and healing after a tragedy.

The winners of the Black British Theatre Awards 2022 have been announced. The awards' ceremony was held the National Theatre on October 16. 

A new production of Bold Girls by Rona Munro will open on 24th September in Cumbernauld. The play is being produced in-house at Cumbernauld Theatre Trust's new home at Lanternhouse, a state-of-the-art performing arts centre based at Cumbernauld Community Campus.

Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical has broken the box office record at the Lyric Theatre for the highest grossing week last week.

The West End production of Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical, which opened last week at the Lyric Theatre, has extended its booking period until 18th September 2022. Hailed as a major cultural event the landmark production about Bob Marley's life began performances at the Lyric at the start of the month.

Edinburgh-based Lung Ha Theatre Company and touring theatre company Plutôt La Vie have announced their collaboration on An Unexpected Hiccup, a new play directed by Ian Cameron and Maria Oller and written by Michael Duke, based on a story by Ian Cameron and developed by the acting ensemble.

Last night (6 March 2019), Andrew Lloyd Webber's award-winning show School of Rock - The Musical celebrated its 1000th performance in the West End at the Gillian Lynne Theatre.
