All 8 Seasons of DEXTER Come to Netflix This Month

Netflix and CBS Corporation previously announced a content licensing agreement in which all eight seasons of the Showtime drama 'Dexter' will become available for Netflix members in the United States. Beginning on Halloween (Oct. 31, 2013), the first four seasons of the award-winning series will be available to watch instantly; seasons 5-8 will begin today, Jan. 1, 2014.

Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF), the not-for-profit foundation of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), announces that Artistic Director Charles Newell of Court Theatre is the recipient of the 2013 Zelda Fichandler Award, which recognizes an outstanding director or choreographer who is transforming the regional arts landscape through singular creativity and artistry in theatre. The award heralds accomplishment to date and promise for the future, artistic vision, and deep commitment to a region outside of New York. It carries an unrestricted grant of $5000 to the individual recipient. The award will be presented to Mr. Newell on Monday, November 4, 2013 at a reception at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.

Will Eno's new play The Realistic Joneses will come to Broadway in Spring of 2014 starring Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner; Academy Award and Tony Award-nominee Toni Collette (“Hostages,” “United States of Tara,” The Sixth Sense, The Wild Party), Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award-winner Michael C. Hall (“Dexter,” Chicago), Tony Award-winner Tracy Letts (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?; August: Osage County; “Homeland”), and Academy Award-winner and Gold Globe-nominee Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny; The Wrestler; Salome). The production will be directed by Obie Award-winner Sam Gold, who is currently represented by Fun Home at the Public Theater.

He notes that 'So far, people seem to be enjoying all those other films, even the slightly weird ones like "Horns" or more challenging like "Kill Your Darlings." Everyone wants to think that Potter was a handcuff for my career in some way. But the franchise has given me amazing opportunities . It's been a springboard rather than a hindrance.'
