The Music Man has extended its Broadway run by popular demand. Originally announced to close on January 1, the revival of Meredith Willson’s musical, starring two-time Tony Award®, Grammy Award®, and Emmy Award®-winning star Hugh Jackman as Professor Harold Hill and two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as Marian Paroo, will now play its positively final Broadway performance on Sunday, January 15, 2023.
Vincent Rodriguez III (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Max Clayton (Music Man), Emma Stratton (Prince of Broadway), Seth Rudetsky (Disaster!), and Soara-Joye Ross (Hadestown) will unite to lead an industry invited developmental reading of a new Cole Porter musical, THE GAY DIVORCEE.

Tony Award nominee Mark Linn-Baker, will join the company of the revival of The Music Man on Broadway as Mayor Shinn, beginning October 25. As previously announced, Tony Award Winner Jefferson Mays will depart the production on October 23, 2022.

The Music Man will end its Broadway run on January 1, 2023.
