Three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning, Mississippi-born country artist Charley Pride will be the inaugural recipient of GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi's Crossroads of American Music Award at the Mississippi Museum's 2019 Gala on Friday, Nov. 1. Established by the Museum's Board of Directors, the Crossroads of American Music Award honors an artist who has made significant musical contributions influenced by the creativity born in the cradle of American music. Pride will appear at the Museum's 2019 Gala to accept the award on Nov. 1 at GRAMMY Museum Mississippi.

John Prine won two awards at last night's Americana Music Association Honors & Awards: Album of the Year (The Tree of Forgiveness) and Song of the Year (“Summer's End” written by Prine and Pat McLaughlin). The reigning 2017 and 2018 Americana Artist of the Year, Prine also performed “Angel From Montgomery” with Bonnie Raitt during last night's ceremony. 

Renowned guitarist, multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter, bandleader and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Steve Miller has released a new song from his rarities box set, WELCOME TO THE VAULT, out October 11 via Sailor/Capitol/UMe. The song, 'Say Wow!,' recorded by Miller in 1973, is making its release debut with WELCOME TO THE VAULT.

Four-time Grammy nominee and folk/rock innovator Chris Hillman chronicles his storied music career alongside long-time musical partner Herb Pedersen at Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre in Malibu on Saturday, September 21 at 8 p.m. at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts.

Renowned guitarist, multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter, bandleader and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Steve Miller has opened up his voluminous archive of recordings for the first time ever to present a milestone 3CD + DVD box set. WELCOME TO THE VAULT covers Miller's genre-blurring six-decade career over 52 audio tracks, pairing a number of greatest hits and certifiable rock 'n roll classics with 38 previously unreleased recordings that span demos, rehearsals, outtakes, vintage concert performances and 5 newly uncovered original Steve Miller Band songs recorded in the 1960s and 1970s.

Four straight days of sold-out shows and capacity crowds, as well as surprise performances and collaborations, made the 48th annual CMA Fest one for the record books. At Nissan Stadium, Lil Nas X created one of the festival's most talked-about moments Saturday night, joined by Billy Ray Cyrus and reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Keith Urban for an epic surprise performance of “Old Town Road,” the No. 1 song in the country for 10 weeks and running. 

 CMA Fest has just announced Eric Church as an additional performer at Nissan Stadium Friday, June 7. Church will take the stage at CMA Fest between shows on his highly successful Double Down Tour, where he made history Saturday night setting the new attendance record at Nissan Stadium with 56,521 people in the audience. Church is the first solo artist to perform at Nissan Stadium sans an opening act, performing alone for more than three hours, with songs spanning his entire six-album catalog. 

Although she turns 80 years old this July, the legendary vocalist Mavis Staples shows no sign of slowing down. Today she is thrilled to release her 12th studio album, We Get By, which features songs written and produced by multi-Grammy award-winner Ben Harper; watch the album's trailer HERE.

CMA Fest has announced additional performances and appearances at Xfinity Fan Fair X, CMA Fest's Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience, where fans get up close and personal with their favorite artists. Xfinity Fan Fair X returns to Music City Center for action-packed entertainment daily from 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday, June 6 through Sunday, June 9, featuring three stages with artist panels and performances, meet-and-greets, music and lifestyle exhibits, prize giveaways and more. Admission to Xfinity Fan Fair X is open to all four-day CMA Fest pass holders and Xfinity Fan Fair X ticket holders. Strawdog Theatre Company is pleased to conclude its 31st season with the world premiere of TAKE ME, a musical comic fantasia written by Mark Guarino, with original music and lyrics by Jon Langford (The Mekons, The Waco Brothers).

The Country Music Association has added performances to the nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium during CMA Fest in downtown Nashville Thursday, June 6 through Sunday, June 9.
