Ricky Skaggs to Perform on Grand Ole Opry's 4,920th Consecutive Saturday Night Broadcast

This weekend, COUNTRY MUSIC and bluegrass icon Ricky Skaggs returns to his home away from home, the Grand Ole Opry. For the past five weeks, amidst the current COVID-19 crisis and without an audience in attendance, the Grand Ole Opry has remained on the air as it has for 4,919 consecutive Saturday nights for nine decades.

Innsbrook After Hours announced that Chase Rice will perform at the SERVPRO of Richmond Pavilion on Saturday, August 15th and Steve Earle and Los Lobos will perform on Friday, September 4th. Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform at Innsbrook After Hours 'one last time' on Thursday, July 23rd. Additional concerts for Innsbrook After Hours 35th season will be announced this week through the venue's social media channels and email . Tickets for these shows will go on sale this Friday March 27th at 10:00 AM at www.innsbrookafterhours.com.  A limited number of early bird general admission tickets for Lynyrd Skynyrd show will be available for one week (March 27-April 2) for $32.  

Michaela Anne Announces Tour with JD McPherson for April

Currently on a West Coast tour, acclaimed Nashville-based singer/songwriter Michaela Anne today announces that she will hit the road with singer, songwriter and musician JD McPherson. Shane Owens To Host World Famous 'Midnite Jamboree' Saturday, Feb. 22

Neo-traditional country music artist and Alabama native, Shane Owens, will host the world famous Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree at the Troubadour Theatre on Saturday, February 22nd. Shane will take the airwaves by storm with a wide variety of songs from the classic sounds of country music, to brand new songs featured on his latest album, Thankful For Country Music. The Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree tapes at 10 P.M CT, airs live on 650-AM WSM, and worldwide online at Midnight CT. Saturday will mark the 3,801 broadcast of the Midnite Jamboree, the second longest running live radio show in history, following only the Grand Ole Opry.

Country Music Association Hosts Eighth Annual CMA Touring Awards

The Country Music Association presented industry honors at the Eighth Annual CMA Touring Awards Tuesday, Jan. 21 at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, celebrating Country Music's most respected professionals from the 2019 touring season. Singer, songwriter, producer and 2017 CMA New Artist of the Year Jon Pardi hosted the evening. He shared humorous, supportive anecdotes throughout the program, recognizing his own road crew as well as this year's nominees. The event awarded 16 industry professionals, including Tony Conway, CEO of Conway Entertainment Group, who was honored with the CMA Touring Lifetime Achievement Award.
