Chris Stapleton leads nominees at the 2018 CMA Awards with five nominations:Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year (From A Room: Volume 2), Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year (“Broken Halos”) and Song of the Year (“Broken Halos”). The awards ceremony will be broadcast on ABC live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 14 at 8:00pm ET/7:00pm CT.

Legendary country duo the LOUVIN BROTHERS (1956-1963) were arguably one of the biggest country duos of their time, and unreleased demo recordings from their early years will be heard for the first time September 28 when Modern Harmonic releases Love And Wealth: The Lost Recordings. The 29 songs (and one warm, spoken audio letter) have never been released before, although a few of these cuts have been covered by other artists. Country Music Hall of Fame member and Recording Academy 'Lifetime Achievement Award' recipient Charley Pride celebrated his 25th Anniversary as a Grand Ole Opry member with appearances on the Opry this weekend. Pride, who made his Opry debut in 1967, performed extended Opry sets in celebration of his milestone anniversary. Graceland has announced that five time GRAMMY Award winning country superstar and Grand Ole Opry member Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives will bring his eclectic blend of rockabilly, honky-tonk, and traditional country music to The Guest House at GracelandTM Theater on June 9 for an electrifying, one-night only, concert performance at 8 p.m. Opening for Stuart will be the London-based, country-folk-pop quartet The Wandering Hearts whose deft fingerpicking, rousing choruses, dark-hued lyrics, and sweet, close vocal harmonies have drawn comparisons to Fleetwood Mac and accolades from fellow musicians including Stuart. From March 29 through April 14, 2018, venues throughout Savannah's Historic District will be filled with the extensive concerts, recitals, dance parties, film, theatrical and multi-disciplinary productions that make up the 29th edition of the Savannah Music Festival (SMF). Operating in multiple venues for the first 16 days of the 2018 festival, the organization presents its most ambitious classical music programming to date, extensive world music offerings and a hard-hitting week of jazz and acclaimed Americana and folk music artists, in addition to theatrical productions and films.
