The St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards winners were announced Friday, May 26 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.

The Chicago Latino Theater Alliance (CLATA) has announced the three new plays selected for the first-ever, Inicios: Chicago Latine Playwright Festival, to be held June 2-4 at UrbanTheater Company, Aguijón Theater and Teatro Tariakuri.

Disney Theatrical Productions, under the direction of Thomas Schumacher, and Popejoy Presents Haverland Carter Broadway in New Mexico are pleased to announce casting for the Albuquerque engagement of Disney's ALADDIN. The hit Broadway musical comedy will begin performances in Albuquerque at Popejoy Hall on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 for a limited engagement of seven performances through Sunday, June 11, 2023.

BroadwayWorld has learned that NETworks will launch a Non-Equity tour of Mean Girls which is currently set to begin performances in September 2023, following the closure of the Equity tour next month. The union tour will play its final performance on May 7th, 2023 at Fort Lauderdale's Broward Center.

Raven Theatre will conclude its 40th Anniversary Season with the Chicago premiere of The October Storm, by Joshua Allen, a follow up to Allen’s smash-hit The Last Pair of Earlies.

The final production in First Stage's 2022/23 season will be THE GRACIOUS SISTERS, freely adapted from Aeschylus' The Eumenides by noted playwright/ filmmaker and First Stage Resident Playwright Alice Austen.
