Get a sneak peek at rehearsals for Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Tennessee Williams' Tony Award-winning The Rose Tattoo, directed by Trip Cullman.

The Rose Tattoo, directed by Trip Cullman and starring Marisa Tomei, is coming soon to Broadway! Roundabout will bring the Tennessee Williams classic back on September 19, and opening officially on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. This is a limited engagement through December 8, 2019 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street).

Beginning Oct. 12,L.A. Theatre Works will bring its signature style of radio-theater to 27 venues across the U.S. as part of the company's 16th annual national tour. Alexis Jacknow (LATW recordings of Tribes, Together Tonight and the Audie Award-winning Hound of the Baskervilles) directs Seven, a riveting documentary play by seven female writers, based on personal interviews with seven remarkable women who faced life-threatening obstacles before bringing heroic changes to their home countries of Pakistan, Nigeria, Ireland, Afghanistan, Guatemala, Russia and Cambodia.

Jacqueline Novak: Get On Your Knees, written by and starring Jacqueline Novak, has extended its limited run to October 6th, due to overwhelming ticket sales and rave reviews. This will be the final extension and the show must close on that date. The show, 'a standup comedy set that inclines towards theater (New York Times),' plays the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, between Hudson and Bleecker Streets), having transferred from the Cherry Lane Theatre, where the whole run sold out. Jacqueline Novak: Get on Your Knees is presented by Natasha Lyonne, and executive produced by Mike Birbiglia. Mike Lavoie, Carlee Briglia and Abingdon Theatre Company are producers.

Roundabout Theatre Company and Columbia University School of the Arts have announced the winners of Columbia@Roundabout's 2019 New Play Reading Series. As part of the collaborative partnership between Roundabout Theatre Company and Columbia University, the reading series awards three playwrights from the current MFA program and recent alumni with a cash prize as well as a reading in Roundabout's Rehearsal Hall, followed by a post-reading reception. Five finalists have also received cash prizes in recognition of their exceptional work. No other collaborative partnership in the New York area brings together an esteemed Ivy League MFA program with a Tony Award-winning, not-for-profit theatre. The reading series is made possible by a grant from The Tow Foundation.

Lena Hall is back on the NYC stage, in more ways than one! The star of Bat Out of Hell, currently playing at New York City Center, will sing even more Jim Steinman at Rockwood Music Hall. The Tony winner will bring her acclaimed Obsessed series to the iconic venue tonight, August 19, at 7pm.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the company and design team for the new Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' Tony Award-winning play The Rose Tattoo.

Jacqueline Novak: Get On Your Knees, a new comedy written by and starring Jacqueline Novak, plays The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street). The show officially opened on Monday, July 22. Check out photos from opening night below!

Roundabout Theatre Company announces Rewards By Roundabout offering an opportunity for all Roundabout customers to earn points to see more of the company's Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, for free. Enrollment begins today; eligible tickets can be purchased for shows in Roundabout's 2019-2020 season, including The Rose Tattoo and Scotland, PA, which go on sale Friday, July 19.

According to Variety, actor Steve Buscemi is is set to join the cast of the forthcoming Untitled Judd ApatowPete Davidson Comedy.  The film will be based on Davidson's life, including losing his firefighter father on 911. This will be Apatow's first film since Trainwreck. The cast also includes Marisa Tomei, Bill Burr, Maude Apatow and Bel Powley.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) is thrilled to announce the newest addition to the artistic team: Directing Fellow Cristina Angeles. Angeles is the fourth Roundabout Directing Fellow; this season she will assist on Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, work with the theatre's artistic team as a script reader, and use Roundabout's resources to develop her own projects.
