For two decades of excellence, a concert like this was an embarrasment of riches and a right proper production.

As I woke this morning in a hotel room in the heart of Manhattan, I somehow felt that I was waking up in a land of another time and space. The one single word that I can form in my head and heart is 'gratitude.'

Last night will go down in the books as a night to remember, especially if you happened to be at Sony Hall and witnessed the firestorm of talent that celebrated BroadwayWorld's 20th Anniversary under the musical direction of Kevin Stites and the direction of Richard Jay-Alexander.

The nominations for the 12th Annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards are announced, recognizing outstanding productions such as 'FAT HAM,' 'TITANIQUE,' and 'MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG.' The winners of the 2023 Outer Critics Circle Awards and the Drama League Awards are revealed, honoring exceptional performances on and off Broadway.

Last night, BroadwayWorld celebrated its 20th anniversary with a concert at Sony Hall. The show, which benefited Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, took over a year to plan.

Returning series regulars include Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang and Alexa Swinton.

Judi Mark comes to Don't Tell Mama next week with Merely Marvelous, the Songs of Gwen Verdon. Performances are Wednesday May 17, 2023 at 7pm and Wednesday May 24, 2023 at 7pm.

Candice Bergen will be returning as Enid Frick, Carrie Bradshaw’s Vogue editor in the new season of And Just Like That. Gloria Steinem will also appear, along with the previously announced Victor Garber, Oliver Hudson and Gary Dourdon.
