For the 111th Kritzerland show, it's the most wonderful time of the year (at home) and Kritzerland's annual holiday show. 

The New Works Virtual Festival will stream 20 new non-musical scripts every day from December 4th - 24th of 2020 (19 plays, 1 teleplay) featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members. A 21st piece will be selected from holiday-themed submissions to be streamed on December 25th.

On Friday, October 16, radio host Rikki Lee Travolta welcomes New Works Virtual Festival producer Kevin Pollack to 101.5 FM's It's Showtime with Rikki Lee airing at 3 PM Central. The popular weekly radio program offers a glimpse into the world of entertainment, including stage, film, and television.

Filming via Zoom has begun for New Works Virtual Festival. From Sunday October 25th to Saturday the 31st, the NWVF will stream video readings of 20 new scripts of non-musical pieces (19 plays, 1 teleplay) featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members. 4 new play scripts have been announced by the team.

From Sunday October 18th to Saturday the 24th, the first-ever New Works Virtual Festival (NWVF) will stream video readings of 20 new scripts featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members. All proceeds will be donated to the Actors Fund.

The Actors Fund announced today that SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley, will also produce and host Plays in the House as part of its weekly lineup of Stars in the House, a daily online show at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Actors Fund, the national human services organization for everyone in performing arts and entertainment, announced today that SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley, will produce a daily mini-online show, entitled Stars in The House, featuring stars of stage and screen singing and performing live (from home!) on social media to promote support for The Fund's services for those most vulnerable to the effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Your Kids, Our Kids (Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, Founding Directors) presented the 6th Annual VOICES FOR THE VOICELESS: Stars For Foster Kids, an event that brings together the very best performers from the American stage and screen to raise awareness about the plight of kids in foster care, particularly those aged 13 and older who are in danger of aging out of the foster care system alone, last night, Thursday, February 6th at 7pm at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street, NYC).

In July 2009, in the backroom of a narrow shop, two young, first-time playwrights performed their first musical at the Toronto Fringe. The show had a quirky title that immediately got it attention. When the first audiences saw it, they knew they were witnessing something unique from writers who had a very promising future. The show became a Fringe sensation. Four months later, David Mirvish, the largest Canadian commercial theatre producer, presented a longer vision of the show at the 700-seat Panasonic Theatre (now the CAA Theatre), where it was extended five times. Today is truly one fine day because it is the sixth anniversary of the hit musical Beautiful opening at Broadway's Stephen Sondheim Theatre! In honor of the occasion, we're looking back at the cast and creative team feeling the earth move on the show's opening night!
