Stratford East has announced that Hanna Streeter has been appointed Executive Director and joint CEO, taking up the position from July 2025.

Theatre503 has announced Anthony Simpson-Pike as its new Artistic Director, succeeding Lisa Spirling who departs Theatre503 after eight years to join Stratford East as Artistic Director.

Theatre503 has announced the cast and full creative team for Roxy’s Cook’s debut play A Woman Walks Into a Bank with Keith Dunphy (Under Black Rock, Arcola) playing C/A Debt Collector, Giulia Innocenti (Inspector Sands’ Wuthering Heights) playing A/An Old Woman, and Sam Newton (Big Big Sky, Hampstead) playing B/A Young Man. The part of a cat, Sally is played by all three.

Emerging  playwright Roxy Cook was announced today as the winner of the 2023 Theatre503 International Playwriting Award for her first play A Woman Walks Into a Bank. Roxy accepted the Award from Erica Whyman, Chair of the Award Judging Panel at an event taking place in the shell of the 503Studio at Nine Elms, which will become a world-class centre for debut playwrights.

Following a strictly limited run at the Ambassadors Theatre in the West End (6 April – 20 May 2023),Vardy v Rooney: The Wagatha Christie Trial  will tour beginning in May.

Zak Zarafshan’s debut play dives into playground politics and marital disputes, but with a touch of divine intervention, and some Britney Spears for good measure. The show follows two sets of parents meeting to discuss a kiss between their two nine-year-olds sons, and the glittery queer guardian angels that help them figure it out.

Theatre503 presents the world premiere of The Boys are Kissing, the debut play from Zak Zarafshan – an alumni of Theatre503's celebrated 503Five. Directed by Artistic Director Lisa Spirling, the cast is: Shane Convery, Philip Coreia, Amy McAllister, Seyan Sarvan, Kishore Walker, and Eleanor Wyld.

Due to popular demand, Vardy v Rooney: The Wagatha Christie Trial will play for a strictly limited run at the Ambassadors Theatre in the West End, opening on 6 April – 20 May 2023. The final 4 remaining performances at the Wyndham's Theatre on 6th, 13th and 20th Dec 2022 and 10th January 2023 are now sold-out.
