Hampstead Theatre Announces Upcoming Season

Artistic Director Edward Hall announces Hampstead Theatre's spring/summer season. The UK premiere of Rajiv Joseph's darkly comic post-truth play Describe the Night will be directed by Lisa Spirling. The world premiere of Jemma Kennedy's blisteringly entertaining Genesis Inc. will be directed by Laurie Sansom. The world premiere of Fiona Doyle's haunting and provocative new drama The Strange Death of John Doe will be directed by Artistic Director Edward Hall for Hampstead Downstairs. The production is a Hampstead Theatre commission and a finalist for The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. Under 30s can access Priority Booking for all shows via The Downstairs Club - Hampstead's free membership scheme to allow better access to the cheaper seats.

BWW Review: IN EVENT OF MOONE DISASTER, Theatre503

In Event of Moone Disaster marks Andrew Thompson's debut. The play was chosen by a panel for the 2016 Theatre503 playwright award, out of 1,629 scripts submitted from 52 countries.

Jake Orr Joins Theatre503 as Producer

South London's Theatre503 have announced that freelance producer and programmer Jake Orr is to join its team as Producer. The former theatre blogger will take up the post on 3rd July.

Theatr Clwyd to Stage Shakespeare's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

In Theatr Clwyd's 40th anniversary year, Artistic Director Tamara Harvey today announces her directorial debut - a major new production of William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Never before produced by Theatr Clwyd, in the 400th anniversary year of Shakespeare's death this will also be Clwyd's 400th production. Much Ado opens on 14 June, with previews from 9 June and runs until 2 July.

Full Cast Announced for UK Regional Premiere of April De Angelis' JUMPY

Theatr Clwyd Artistic Director Tamara Harvey today announces full casting for the regional premiere of the hit Royal Court and West End comedy Jumpy by April De Angelis. Sara Stewart leads the company in the role of Hilary and is joined by Ciara Baxendale (Lyndsey), Charlotte Beaumont (Tilly), Steven Elliot (Roland), Laurie Kynaston (Josh), Charlotte Moore (Bea), Kerry Peers (Frances), Laurence Ubong Williams (Cam) and Philip Wright (Mark).
