Previews for the world-premiere of Kathleen K. Johnson's play FIERCELY INDEPENDENT, will now begin Saturday, March 2 at 7 p.m. prior to the production's opening on Wednesday, March 6 at 7 p.m., with its new stars, CAITLIN GALLOGLY (On a Clear Day You Can See Forever) and CHRISTOPHER M. SMITH (Apple Season) at Soho Playhouse (15 Vandam St.) in Manhattan. 

FIERCELY INDEPENDENT - a new play by Tony winner Kathleen K. Johnson - will be given its world premiere Off-Broadway at the Soho Playhouse (15 Vandam St. in Manhattan), with preview performances beginning March 1 prior to an official press opening March 6.   FIERCELY INDEPENDENT will play a five-week limited engagement through April 7, it has been announced by producer Michael Guccione.

Birdland mainstays Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch have returned to Birdland Theater with "The Sunday Set," an evening of swinging standards and a few tunes that are hard to categorize! The dynamic duo has one more concert, on Sunday, February 17, with a show at 7:30pm. Bassist Steve Doyle joins the duo.

Birdland mainstays Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch return to Birdland Theater with "The Sunday Set," an evening of swinging standards Sundays, February 3, 10 and 17, with shows at 7:30pm.  Bassist Steve Doyle will join the duo. 

The one and only new girl in town, Tony Award winner Linda Lavin, joins Rob and Kevin for a phone chat that discusses not only her appearances in A Family Affair, It's A Bird, It's A Plane, It's Superman, Broadway Bound, and Last of the Red Hot Lovers, but what inspires her as an artist, what it was like making the rounds during her formative years, and how she like to collaborate with directors and writers.

Returning after back-to-back sold out shows this past summer, Jana Robbins (Gypsy, I Love My Wife, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife) and Haley Swindal (Jekyll and Hyde, White Christmas, Sweeney Todd) will join forces again and return to Feinstein's/54 Below for two unforgettable evenings with "We Just Move On! - The Songs of Kander and Ebb." The shows are slated for Tuesday, February 5th at 7:00PM and Tuesday, February 12th at 7:00PM.

Bassist Steve Doyle will join the duo. Caruso and Stritch, who have performed extensively on their own, gained national exposure together as the host and musical director of the wildly popular open mic, Cast Party, which celebrates talent every Monday at Birdland in NYC, and tours nationally. The duo has also received critical acclaim during their seven years at Bemelmans at The Carlyle Hotel, and made international news when rock legend Bono joined them in an impromptu performance. The musical pair has also become the darlings of the show biz set, welcoming spontaneous performances by stars including Liza Minnelli, Michael Feinstein, Jane Monheit, Clint Holmes, Marilyn Maye, Stephanie J. Block, Steve Ross, Linda Lavin, Darren Criss, Luann de Lesseps, Laura Osnes, Liliane Montevecchi, Christine Ebersole, and Steve Tyrell.
