After two triumphant seasons at The London Palladium, the sensational brand new production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will come direct to Australia, opening at the Regent Theatre, Melbourne on 10 November 2022.  Melbourne's opening will be the first staging of this newly reimagined production outside of the UK.

The Gaiety Musical Theatre Festival has announced the full main stage line up for this year's festival at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire.

Kicking off the month on January 1st is the 1945 musical comedy film Ziegfeld Follies, featuring Fred Astaire, Lucille Ball, Gene Kelly, Judy Garland, Fanny Brice, Lena Horne and more. The How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying film, based on the musical of the same name, is set to debut on January 4th.

West End and Broadway favourite Marisha Wallace will join fellow headliners Kerry Ellis (We Will Rock You, Wicked, Oliver!), Lee Mead (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Wicked, Legally Blonde the Musical) and Cassidy Janson (&Juliet, Beautiful: The Carol King Musical, Avenue Q) at Gaiety Musical Theatre Festival on Sunday 1st May 2022.

TV favourites Lee Mead, Sherrie Hewson, Jessica Ellis and Les Dennis lead the cast in the hilarious stage adaptation Lee Mead plays Kevin, Sherrie Hewson plays Julia, Jessica Ellis is Kelly and Les Dennis takes on the role of Fergus. Marc Akinfolarin also joins the cast as Alan with Alex–May Roberts as Val.

Joining the previously announced Lee Mead as 'Kevin' will be Sherrie Hewson as 'Julia', Jessica Ellis as 'Kelly' and Les Dennis as 'Fergus'. Marc Akinfolarin also joins the cast as 'Alan' with Alex–May Roberts as 'Val'. Further casting to be announced soon.

Samantha Barks is set to release a new studio album, titled 'Into The Unknown' on November 12. The album will be released under new record label, Westway.
