INNER CIRCLE Extends Again Off-Broadway

Asi Wind's Inner Circle has been extended again. The show plays at The Judson Theatre (243 Thompson Street) and opened on September 18. It was originally scheduled to end on January 1, extended through April 2, and now to May 28.

STRANGER SINGS! Extends At Playhouse 46 At St. Lukes

​​​​​​​Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical has announced an extension at Playhouse 46 at St. Luke's (308 W. 46th Street). Originally set to close on Sunday, January 1, performances will now continue with a limited 8 week extension beginning on January 13.

From B'way producer William Franzblau to multi-Tony Award-winner Rupert Holmes-----the screams of laughter certainly woke up the otherwise quiet Tuesday (1/14/20) afternoon crowd at Broadway's venerable Sardi's restaurant. Fun backstage stories about out how the Broadway production of “Say Goodnight, Gracie” came together and the antics of the show's star--- the late Frank Gorshin were the talk of the afternoon. “Seems impossible that 18 years have slipped by so fast”—said Franzblau.

Some of Broadway's leading women producers lunched at the Friars Club today followed by a panel discussion moderated by Friar and Broadway producer Jamie deRoy.  Ms. deRoy who happens to be the 8th woman inducted into the Friars (back in the day), guided the discussion of the distinguished Tony Award Winning group which included Susan Gallin (Other People's Money, Angels in America), Robyn Goodman (Avenue Q, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella), Mara Isaacs (Hadestown, McCarter Theater), Nelle Nugent (Latin History for Morons, For Colored Girls), and Daryl Roth (Kinky Boots, Indecent).
