All new rehearsal photos have been released from the upcoming production of As You Like It @sohoplace which begins performances on 6th December, officially opening on 14th November.

Leah Harvey, BAFTA nominated star of the Apple TV+ series Foundation and last seen on stage in the National Theatre's Small Island, will play Lisa.

The podcast explores celebrity guests' careers and the obstacles they've overcome through open, honest and casual conversation. What started as a passion project during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic has turned into a space for actors, rising and established, to share their victories, struggles and advice for their fellow artists.

Based on Isaac Asimov’s stories, and featuring an international cast led by Harris and Pace, alongside rising stars Lou Llobell and Leah Harvey, the monumental adaptation of “Foundation” chronicles the stories of four crucial individuals transcending space and time as they overcome deadly crises. The cast also includes Laura Born and Terrance Mann.

As the National Theatre’s acclaimed production of The Ocean at the End of the Lane opens at The Duke of York’s Theatre in the West End, a final three-week extension is announced. Due to popular demand, the first major stage adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s work will now run until 14 May 2022.

The Apple Original drama stars Laura Birn, Terrence Mann, Cassian Bilton and Alfred Enoch.

The 10-episode first season of “Foundation” will debut globally on Apple TV+ on September 24, 2021 with the first three episodes, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.

Small Island, adapted by Helen Edmundson and directed by Rufus Norris, is streaming for free with National Theatre at Home from 7pm UK time (2pm EST) on Thursday 18 June, until 7pm UK time (2pm EST) on Thursday 25 June 2020.

It could not have been better timing for the National Theatre to screen Small Island, Andrea Levy's epic and incredible story. This sellout 2019 production was due to return this autumn, but is now screened as part of the National Theatre At Home series. Levy never got to see how her novel translated so powerfully onto the stage as she sadly died just before rehearsals started. Her 2004 book is poignant, moving and warm and the themes of love, racism and prejudice set among the Windrush generation could hardly feel more prescient. Helen Edmundson's adaptation is faithful to these qualities and creates an epic of a production.

The National Theatre today announces a further five productions that will be streamed as a part of the National Theatre at Home series.

Terrence Mann, Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn and Cassian Bilton have joined the cast of the new Apple series Foundation as series regulars, according to Deadline. 

On Sunday 23 June, LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) held its first biennial fundraising gala, hosted by LAMDA President and alumnus Benedict Cumberbatch CBE and LAMDA Chairman, The Rt. Hon Shaun Woodward. VIP guests, LAMDA alumni and current students enjoyed an evening of entertainment at the drama school's West London campus. £230,000 was raised, which will support LAMDA's ongoing work to ensure a wider group of young people can experience world-class Conservatoire training.

The 2004 prize-winning novel by Andrea Levy, who sadly passed away earlier this year, has been beautifully translated to stage by adaptor Helen Edmundson and NT head honcho Rufus Norris, using thrilling theatrical solutions to honour Levy's epic - and still urgent - tale.
