Dancers over 40 presented a sold out one-night-only special event: A Toast to Harvey - Celebrating the Life and Career of Harvey Evans on Wednesday, June 22nd, 6 – 9PM at The Triad Theatre. The evening was hosted by Broadway legend, Lee Roy Reams and featured performances and remembrances by Jim Brochu, Anita Gillette, Kurt Peterson, Marianne Tatum, Penny Worth and Tony Yazbeck.

Complete casting announced for the Harvey Evans Tribute includes Jim Brochu, Anita Gillette, Joel Grey, Kurt Peterson, Marianne Tatum, Penny Worth and Tony Yazbeck, directed by Lawrence Leritz. The evening will be hosted by his good friend and fellow hoofer, Lee Roy Reams, and features performances and remembrances by Jim Brochu, Anita Gillette, Kurt Peterson, Marianne Tatum and Penny Worth and directed by DO40 board member Lawrence Leritz, producer and choreographer of The Triad Theatre's hit show Boobs! The School Of American Ballet celebrated Suki Schorer's 50th Anniversary at SAB on Friday evening, June 3rd, 2022. Since joining the permanent faculty in 1972, Suki has touched the lives of countless young dancers, imparting her wisdom and singular understanding of Balanchine's teaching and aesthetic to generations of students. The School will honor Suki at its 2022 Workshop Performances.
