LOVE IN KILNERRY Premieres at San Diego International Film Festival and New Hampshire Film Festival

'Love in Kilnerry' is set for its Bi-Coastal North American Premier at the San Diego Intl Film Festival on Oct 17 @ 2pm (Pendry Hotel) and Oct 19 @ 1pm (ArcLight Cinema) and at the New Hampshire Film Festival Oct 17 5:15 pm (The Music Hall, Portsmouth, NH). It was completed in Summer 2019 and has already gained 23 international awards and 11 nominations for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Screenplay, and Best Cinematography. The corky, warm-hearted comedy, edited by John Wilson (Downton Abbey), casting by Kimberly Graham (Homeland), an original score by Randy Edelman (Last of the Mohicans), and colored by Company 3 (Star Wars, A Star is Born) had over 380,000 views on the trailer in the first few months.

The 12th Annual Jersey Shore Film Festival will present the feature film comedy 'Love in Kilnerry' on June 27 and 28th, 2019 at The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park. The film is fresh off it's premiere at the Soho International Film Festival in NYC on June 23rd.

Dancers Over 40 continues its 25th Anniversary season with the 10th Annual Legacy Awards and Holiday Dinner Monday, December 10, 2018. This celebration honoring our very own members will be held at LIPS Restaurant, 227 East 56th Street 6 – 9pm and hosted by Drama Desk Award Winner Jim Brochu. There will be guest speakers and performances by entertainer/activist and member of the NYC Nightlife Advisory Board Marti Gould Cummings, along with the always wonderfully delicious full-course meal.

The dynamic introductory host for this 'Love Fest' was Loni Ackerman. 'Song and dance concert to celebrate our 25th Anniversary season (2018 - 2019) and Broadway Cares/Equity fights Aids' (Dancers Over 40 and Friends, 2018). It featured 33 dancers as well as special guests and speakers. Among those memorialized and given special tributes, George Marcy a DO40 board member was eulogized movingly by Carol Lawrence. Ms. Lawrence gave a heartfelt tribute to her mentor, George Marcy. She spoke at length of Marcy's kindnesses and invaluable help within her career. The 'star' quality that Ms. Lawrence possesses shone through as she took the stage and told the audience how very important Mr. Marcy had been in her life. He would be truly missed by her and those who knew him well.

The School Of American Ballet (SAB) held it's annual alumni cocktail reception on June 2, 2017. The SAB event was held at it's Lincoln Center location and was attended by many of it's illustrious alumni. SAB is one of the most famous classical ballet schools in the world and is the school of George Balanchine's New York City Ballet, a leading international ballet company based at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. The school trains students from the age of six, with professional vocational ballet training for students aged 11-18.
