Dramatic Publishing has licensed the Broadway production of The Kite Runner, and a North American tour is being planned for 2024. Tour cities, dates and casting will be announced. The Kite Runner will have played 17 previews and 117 regular performances on Broadway.

New York City Ballet will present its tenth annual Fall Fashion Gala on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 7pm at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. This year’s event will honor Sarah Jessica Parker, a vice chair of the NYCB Board of Directors, who conceived the Fall Fashion Gala in 2012.

The Kite Runner is officially open on Broadway! Based on Khaled Hosseini's internationally best-selling novel and adapted by Matthew Spangler, the production comes to New York from two successful seasons in London's West End and will run through October 30 at The Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street). GLAAD, the world's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer media advocacy organization, announced recipients for 16 of this year's 30 categories for the 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards. Additional categories were announced in Los Angeles on April 2.

Michael R. Jackson will appear in a special performance from his Pulitzer Prize-winning musical “A Strange Loop' during the 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards. The awards will also feature Ariana DeBose presenting an honor to Judith Light, Wilson Cruz receiving the Vito Russo Award, a performance from Dove Cameron, and more.

On the red carpet for the SAG Awards, Cynthia Erivo opened up about preparing to work alongside Ariana Grande in the upcoming film adaption of Wicked. Erivo discussed her first time meeting with Grande, starting production on the new film, and the new 'spin' that director Jon M. Chu is putting on the hit musical.
