Eclectic Full Contact Theatre's Patchwork New Play Festival is back with a celebration of new one-act plays based on the theme of Metamorphosis.

Eclectic Full Contact Theatre has announced their first annual Crashbox Festival of Short Live Audio Plays, running November 16-19 at the Edge Off Broadway Theatre.

Full casting and production team have been announced for City Lit’s forty-third season opener - the world premiere of THE INNOCENCE OF SEDUCTION by Chicago playwright Mark Pracht. It is the second play in his projected “Four-Color Trilogy” of plays set during the early years of the comic book industry. The first play in the trilogy, THE MARK OF KANE, opened City Lit’s forty-second season.

Eclectic Full Contact Theatre will present their first full-length production in Chicago since 2019-the world premiere of 'The Wonder' by Maggie Lou Rader at the Edge Theatre 5451 N Broadway.

The Friday, February 5th episode of radio's It's Showtime with Rikki Lee will feature an interview with two of the founding members of critically acclaimed Chicago theater company Eclectic Full Contact Theatre. Silent Theatre Company, for the first time in fifteen years of existence, has chosen an Executive Director. Lauren Fisher, a co-founding member of the original ensemble, was unanimously elected by the ensemble to oversee the business and fundraising aspects of the organization, as the company reflects on reaching this decade and a half milestone.

It wrestles with questions of when we ought to speak up, when we ought to keep quiet and how to love people with whom we disagree. To accomplish this exploration, the audience is invited to enter and immerse themselves in multi-dimensional action that will fill up all the spaces in this real church where the family prepares to bury the young pastor, say their goodbyes and maybe find out who killed him.
