Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center is bringing an acclaimed play to the stage in West Chester this February. The Mountaintop was written by then 28-year old, Black female playwright, Katori Hall, and opened in a small pub in south London. A producer saw the show and supported it in a production in the West End where it went on to take the UK theatre award season by storm winning the Laurence Olivier Award for “Best New Play.”

San Jose Stage Company has announced the cast and creative team for the first production of its 40th Anniversary 2022-23 Season, Sex with Strangers by Laura Eason. Directed by Johnny Moreno, Sex with Strangers will run from October 12 – 30, 2022 at San Jose Stage Company.

This historic first season of professional theatre in downtown West Chester begins with William Gibson's joyful play, The Butterfingers Angel, Mary & Joseph, Herod The Nut, & The Slaughter Of 12 Hit Carols In A Pear Tree, opening  just in time for the holidays and running November 30 to December 23, 2022.

The Episcopal Actors' Guild (EAG) has announced that the Barbour Playwrights Award will be back for its fifteenth year this June. The festival celebrating new work for the theatre will feature readings of three new plays nominated by this year's partnering company Playwrights Gallery.

This two-hander, directed by Benjamin Burt, features Cameron Meyer and Casey King as the titular STRANGERS.
