Andrew Barth Feldman has joined the cast of SNL 1975, an origin film about the beginning of Saturday Night Live. Jason Reitman's behind-the-scenes film based on the start of the iconic comedy series. The film will have up-and-coming talent playing roles like Gilda Radner, Billy Crystal, Jane Curtin, Jim Henson, Lorne Michaels, and more.

Lamorne Morris (Fargo, Woke) will play recurring guest star Peter. Iris Apatow (The Bubble, Vodka, Young Werther) will play recurring guest star Georgia. They will join the returning cast Rob Lowe, John Owen Lowe, Sian Clifford, Rachel Marsh, Emma Ferreira and Aaron Branch. Fred Armisen reprises his guest starring role as Leslie.

'Father Figures,' a short film written and directed by Alessandro Chille, has been officilly selected in the Fusion category for the prestigious Dances With Films festival.

The Mammoth Film Festival has announced its opening night film, Padre Pio, starring Shia LeBeouf, a film by Abel Ferrara, marking its North American festival premiere debut.

Anthony Anderson, Nicole Byer, Al Franken, Jeff Goldblum, Chelsea Handler, Sean Hayes, Simu Liu, Rob McElhenney, Lamorne Morris, Desus Nice, Mark Rober, Kerry Washington and more are set to host throughout the summer. Dates for specific episodes and further guest hosts will be announced at a later time. 

The featurette includes behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the guest cast, as well as creator and executive producer Bruce W. Smith and executive producer Ralph Farquhar. Disney+ has released first-look character images for a star-studded roster of guest cast featured in the new original series, “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,” premiering with two episodes February 23 on Disney+. iHeartRadio has announced the launch of “Welcome to Our Show,” a New Girl rewatch podcast, hosted by the show’s stars Zooey Deschanel, Hannah Simone and Lamorne Morris. The trio will rewatch the series to reveal never-before-told stories, their favorite memories from creating the show and divulge moments and scenes left on the cutting room floor.

It’s time to get loud with the Prouds in the trailer debut for “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.” The new series, based on the Disney Channel series from the 2000s, will feature some of music and entertainment's biggest names, including Keke Palmer; Lizzo; Lil Nas X; Chance the Rapper; Normani; Leslie Odom Jr.; & Tiffany Haddish.

All proceeds from the event will support Red Nose Day’s 2021 campaign, which aims to raise critical funds and awareness to help address child poverty, and is built on the foundation that the power of entertainment can drive positive change. 

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent work selected across the Feature Film, Short Film, Indie Series and New Frontier categories for the 2021 Sundance Film Festival.

Hulu has renewed live-action/animated hybrid Original comedy series Woke, inspired by the life of award-winning artist Keith Knight, for a second season (8 episodes). The first season debuted on Hulu, Wednesday, September 9 and is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
