Little Shop of Horrors is headed back to New York!

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS announces that the sold-out production starring Jonathan Groff, Tammy Blanchard and Christian Borle has released eight additional weeks of tickets, now on sale through Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the Westside Theatre (407 W. 43rd St, NYC).

Little Shop of Horrors has announced that it is extending eight additional weeks, through January 19, 2020!

Audiences are getting ready to head to Skid Row this fall! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Howard Ashman and Alan Menken's classic sci-fi musical Little Shop of Horrors is returning to New York at The Westside Theatre, with previews beginning September 17th and opening night set for October 17th. The production is set to run for a limited engagement through November 24th.

Next week, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

Join the Black Broadway community as they perform inspirational cover songs at Darkness RISING: Live 2. The concert benefits Darkness RISING Nonprofit, an organization which focuses on mental wellness in the Black community. The event will be held at the Knitting Factory Brooklyn at 7pm (doors open at 6:30pm). Knitting Factory is located at 361 Metropolitan Ave in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The evening will incude vendors, raffle prizes, a silent auction and a full bar, and will be hosted by Broadway Black's Drew Shade. Tickets can be purchased at bkknittingfactory.com.

Singers from the Black Broadway community have joined together to create a music and mental health album of inspirational cover songs. In just two rehearsals, the Darkness RISING cast recorded an album intended for anyone who lives with anxiety, depression, bipolar, or other mental illnesses. Music has been proven be therapeutic and healing. It can provide emotional support, increase motivation, and offer an outlet for expression of feelings.

Last night, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical celebrated 2000 performances on Broadway! BroadwayWorld was there to celebrate the big day, and you can check out photos below!

On Today October 3rd at 9:30pm cult classic musical lovers will gather at Feinstein's/54 Below for a concert of songs from their favorite under-appreciated shows. Featuring a line up of Broadway performers and emerging artists, the evening will highlight songs revolving around the themes of oppression and hope. Proceeds will be donated to the ACLU.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Melissa Benoist, who currently steals the screen in the title role of The CW's hit show, 'Supergirl', will make her Broadway debut as Carole King this summer in Broadway's hit, Beautiful-The Carole King Musical. Ms. Benoist will begin performances on June 7 and will play a limited run through August 4th, 2018.

Thirty-two Broadway performers have been announced for Vanguard Theater Company's Third Annual Broadway Buddy Mentorship Program and Cabaret.

Singers and musicians from the Black Broadway community will sing inspirational cover songs from their upcoming album: Darkness RISING. The concert benefits BLK HLTH, an organization which focuses on the wellness of the Black community. The concert will be held at The Triad NYC on Monday, April 2nd at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased at triadnyc.com. The Triad is located at 158 W. 72nd St. (2 drink minimum)
