Manhattan Theatre Club will present the world premiere of Summer, 1976 written by Pulitzer Prize winner David Auburn (Proof, The Columnist), starring Tony Award® & Academy Award® nominee Laura Linney (My Name is Lucy Barton, “Ozark”) and directed by Tony winner Daniel Sullivan (Proof, Lillian Hellman’s The Little Foxes).

Renée Fleming’s Cities That Sing - Paris is directed by François-René Martin and produced by Tripp Hornick and Elmar Kruse. Executive Producers are Jason Richmond, John Turner and Bruce H. Lipnick. Additional details for Venice along with additional Renée Fleming’s Cities That Sing destinations to be announced in the coming months.

Two-time Tony Award nominee Christine Andreas will join Grammy Award-winning bandleader Vince Giordano and pianist Art Topilow for a night of Broadway at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 31 on the deck at the iconic Bell Works in Holmdel. Joining them on stage will be award-winning vocalist and saxophonist Danny Bacher.

Stars in the House for Ukraine, an 11+ Hour telethon of the weekly streaming show, raised $139,000 for the International Rescue Committee's humanitarian efforts for those affected by the war in Ukraine. That total is inclusive of a generous matching donation by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, which matched the first $50,000 worth of donations.

In a one-of-a-kind arts and culture event, Milwaukee-area business and community leaders will come together for the 17th Annual BASH on Friday, June 17 to raise funds for the Marcus Performing Arts Center's education and community engagement programs.

Actor and director Calvin Remsberg has passed away at 72. He is well known as both actor and director on both coasts. Some of his most notable stage credits include Sweeney Todd (First National, and Television productions), CATS, the acclaimed Los Angeles' Phantom of the Opera, Man of La Mancha, and Oliver!

Chris Isaacson Presents and Ronn Goswick have announced the 12th Annual A Broadway Christmas. Hosted by Broadway stars Eden Espinosa and David Burnham with musical direction by Gerald Sternbach, there will be one performance only on Sunday, December 19, at 7:30pm, at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood.

Westport Country Playhouse has selected two HD videos from its archives of performances captured live on stage for streaming on demand. The Playhouse’s 2018 production of “Man of La Mancha,” the Tony Award-winning musical following Don Quixote’s quest for “The Impossible Dream,” will stream on-demand from Monday, August 23-Sunday, September 5.
