Lincoln Center has announced via their website that their presentation of Carousel starring Kelli O'Hara, Jessie Mueller and more has been postponed. Carousel was scheduled to kick off Lincoln Center's new Broadway Fridays series.
On Saturday, June 27, from 6:00-9:00 (ET). Cleveland Public Theatre's Staff will (safely and responsibly) broadcast Station Hope, a jubilant community event celebrating Cleveland's social justice history and exploring contemporary struggles for freedom and equity. It is free, family-friendly, and open to all. CPT will publish how to participate online in the weeks to come.
BroadwayWorld has just learned that the previously scheduled broadcast of Peter Pan Live! has been postponed. The Shows Must Go On! writes in a statement: 'We will no longer be going ahead with this weekend's show. We stand with our Black employees, colleagues, partners and creators in outrage at acts of Racism. Black Lives Matter.'
