The fourth annual Provincetown American Playwright Award will be presented during an intimate celebration at the historic Mary Heaton Vorse House on Saturday, August 14.

Tony nominee Ethan Slater and Drama Desk Nominee Nick Blaemire joined Take A Bow on the eve of the launch of their new project, Edge of the World. The two have teamed up to create a new concept album as the composers and stars of the album.

Soprano and Arts/Health Advocate Renée Fleming has launched Healing Breath: a series of breathing exercises shared by opera singers, actors and Broadway stars for anyone trying to regain breath after illness.

The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park—a spectacular new year-round venue with 360-degree views of San Diego's downtown, marina, and bay—will open with a weekend celebration as the first permanent outdoor home of the San Diego Symphony.

On Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26, 2021, Tallgrass Theatre Company will present the Tony Award-winning musical The Bridges of Madison County in concert.

The Jimmy Awards has just announced this year’s 72 nominees from 36 regions around the US. The national student showcase will be streamed on Thursday, July 15th at 7:30 PM. The show will feature dynamic ensemble and solo performances and will culminate with two students presented with a Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor award with a total of 20 awards and scholarships available to participants.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts announced today that Jason Robert Brown, Savion Glover, Priscilla López, Susan Stroman, Marisha Wallace, and Christopher Wheeldon have joined the growing list of Broadway stars participating in I'm Still Here: A Virtual Benefit for the Billy Rose Theatre Division, airing June 23, 2021 on Broadway On Demand at 8pm EST and 8pm PST. The fundraiser will help raise critical funds for the Library for the Performing Arts' beloved Theatre Division as it celebrates its 90th anniversary this year.
