Eleri Ward will celebrate her hit album A Perfect Little Death from GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS with two special concerts at Joe’s Pub (425 Lafayette Street) in New York this season. After her upcoming debut at the venue on March 2 quickly sold out, an additional performance has been added for Wednesday, March 16 at 7:00 PM.

The Kennedy Center Honors aired on TV last night, December 22. The honorees included Bette Midler, Justino Díaz, Berry Gordy, Lorne Michaels, and Joni Mitchell, who were celebrated in Washington, D.C., at the Honors Gala on December 5, 2021 in the Kennedy Center Opera House.

Billy Porter honored Bette Midler as she received the Kennedy Center Honor with a performance of 'From A Distance.' Melissa Manchester will present Midler with the honor. The tribute will also feature Kelli O'Hara singing 'Wind Beneath My Wings'. Beanie Feldstein and Kate Baldwin will also appear in the tribute.

Just yesterday, Tony Award winner Kelli O'Hara stepped in as soloist with The New York Pops, replacing the previously announced Laura Benanti, who withdrew from the event due to an exposure to COVID-19 in her family. The festive program, led by New York Pops Music Director Steven Reineke included traditional carols and contemporary classics. 

The highlights video features Kelli O'Hara singing 'Wind Beneath My Wings' and Billy Porter's making a show-stopping entrance. The tribute to Midler will also feature performances by Beanie Feldstein and Kate Baldwin. A Perfect Little Death, which was released in streaming and digital formats earlier this year, is an expansive folk reinvention of the one-of-a-kind Stephen Sondheim canon, rendered with ethereal, melancholic guitar arrangements.

Broadway star Kelli O’Hara will be running the TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 7 to raise money and awareness for the Cancer Support Community (CSC), a global nonprofit network that provides $50 million in free navigation and support services to patients and their loved ones.
