Written for a streamed production in 2021, Keli Goff’s CROWNS, KINKS AND CURLS needed some alterations for a live staged presentation, and Three Bone Theatre has solved most of those tailoring problems admirably. When Goff comes to Charlotte for a talkback, she'll see the rousing ambiance she has created - and perhaps consider trims and updates.

Sam Smith has teased their appearance on the second season of HBO Max's popular Sex and the City revival, And Just Like That. Cynthia Nixon will return as a director for the second season of AND JUST LIKE THAT... Season one starred Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, and Evan Handler. The second season will also feature the return of John Corbett as Aidan, plus Tony Danza.

At Monday night’s 2023 TCG Gala: Our Stories, Theatre Communications Group raised over $300,000. The Gala honored Samuel L. Jackson and LaTanya Richardson Jackson, with an award presented by Vanessa Williams.

From executive producer Michael Patrick King, And Just Like That…, brings the iconic characters of Sex and the City back for exciting all-new series, which finds Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) navigating the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

John Corbett will return to his Sex and the City role of Aidan Shaw for the second season of And Just Like That... Corbett will have a multi-episode arc on the second season of the series, reprising his role as Carrie Bradshaw's on-and-off-again boyfriend. The new season will also feature Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.

Presenter Ilana Glazer has brought Alison Leiby's critically acclaimed comedy about no one's favorite subject to the stage. Directed by Lila Neugebauer (The Wolves, The Waverly Gallery), Alison Leiby: Oh God, A Show About Abortion plays the Cherry Lane Theatre in Manhattan for six weeks only, now through June 4, 2022.

Concord Theatricals has announced the acquisition of Keli Goff's The Glorious World of Crowns, Kinks and Curls for its Samuel French imprint. Goff is a writer/producer on the Sex And the City reboot And Just Like That, which begins airing on HBO Max this Thursday, December 9.

Today, Baltimore Center Stage announced its new Virtual Student Matinee Library. The Virtual Student Matinee Library is an online repository of filmed versions of some of Center Stage's programs and plays with corresponding program material, such as curricula and program guides, to prompt questioning and classroom discussion. It is completely free for teachers.  

Baltimore Center Stage has announced that due to popular demand, The Glorious World of Crowns, Kinks and Curls has been extended through May 2. The show is currently streaming.
