Disney has shared a first look at Cynthia Erivo as the Blue Fairy in the upcoming live-action film remake of Pinocchio. The flim is also set to star Tom Hanks, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Keegan-Michael Key, Lorraine Bracco and Luke Evans. Erivo can also be heard singing the film's iconic 'When You Wish Upon A Star' song.

Second City and SNL alum Jerry Minor returns to Chicago to direct his first resident stage production with an ensemble that includes e.t.c. stage vets Alex Bellisle, Mark Campbell, Terrence Carey, and Laurel Krabacher, Mainstage alum Jordan Savusa, and former Second City Touring Company member Claudia Martinez.

 The Second City has announced that, for the first time in the iconic comedy company’s 62-year history, an Artistic Advisory Board has been formed to help promote and secure the organization’s success for the next 62 years and beyond.

Legendary Chicago comedy institution The Second City has announced the creation of The Victor Wong Fellowship, a program to train and mentor up-and-coming comedians. Named after The Second City's first Asian American performer and funded by Peng Zhao, CEO of Citadel Securities, and his wife, Cherry Chen, the fellowship will focus on developing the next generation of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) talent. 

“Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” stars John Mulaney (“Saturday Night Live”) as Chip, Andy Samberg (“Palm Springs”) as Dale, and KiKi Layne (“If Beale Street Could Talk”). Laura Benanti and Robert Sean Leonard have joined the second season of The Gilded Age as recurring characters. Netflix has released a first look at Mike Myers' new series, The Pentaverate. The film stars Mike Myers, Ken Jeong, Keegan-Michael Key, Debi Mazar, Richard McCabe, Jennifer Saunders, and Lydia West. It's a Promposal! This week, actor Sinclair Mitchell, currently touring the nation as Mr. Hawkins in The Prom, took a moment following the show to bring his partner, Joseph, onto the stage for a marriage proposal!
