Beck Center for the Arts has announced the regional premiere of Steve Martin's Meteor Shower.

The cast of the upcoming Netflix comedy The Bubble met for a photo call yesterday at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. The film is set to debut on April 1st. It is a comedy about a group of actors and actresses that are stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel while they attempt to complete a sequel to an action franchise film about flying dinosaurs.

The cast includes Karen Gillan, Iris Apatow, Fred Armisen, Maria Bakalova, David Duchovny, Keegan-Michael Key, Leslie Mann, Pedro Pascal, Peter Serafinowicz, Vir Das, Rob Delaney, Galen Hopper, Samson Kayo, Guz Khan, Nick Kocher, Ross Lee, Harry Trevaldwyn, and Danielle Vitalis. Legendary Chicago comedy institution The Second City is proud to announce the cast and crew of The Second City’s 110th Mainstage Revue. Resident stage and Second City Touring Company director Jen Ellison (Apes of Wrath) will make her Mainstage directorial debut with an ensemble that includes Together at Last returning members Evan Mills and Musical Director Jeff Bouthiette.

The film stars John Mulaney as Chip, Andy Samberg as Dale, KiKi Layne, Will Arnett, Eric Bana, Flula Borg, Dennis Haysbert, Keegan-Michael Key, Tress MacNeille, Tim Robinson, Seth Rogen, J.K. Simmons, and Chris Parnell. The hybrid live-action/CG animated action-comedy catches up with the former Disney stars in modern-day Los Angeles.

A new teaser for Jordan Peele's upcoming film, Nope, has been revealed. A full trailer is expected to drop Sunday, February 13, during the Super Bowl. The new teaser also features footage from Peele's two most recent films, Get Out and Us.

Chicago Theatre Week (#CTW22), an annual celebration of the rich tradition of theatre-going in Chicago during which visitors and residents can access value-priced tickets, returns for its 10th year and will take place February 17-27, 2022.

Hulu has ordered the Original comedy Reboot, from creator and executive producer Steve Levitan and 20th Television to series. Judy Greer will star opposite previously announced Keegan-Michael Key and Johnny Knoxville, replacing Leslie Bibb in the role of Bree. The series also stars Calum Worthy, Rachel Bloom, and Krista Marie Yu.

Producers and co-Presidents of the Prom Committee are excited that the National Tour of the 2019 Drama Desk Award winner for Outstanding Musical THE PROM will play at the Fabulous Fox Theatre from January 25 – February 6.

Rachel Brosnahan (Prime Video’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and her banner, Scrap Paper Pictures, in collaboration with VICE Studios and Wingate Media executive produce. Brosnahan will be joined by a star-studded ensemble cast including Milo Ventimiglia, Josh Groban, John Benjamin Hickey, Harry Lloyd and Morgan Spector.

The series features three Tony Award® winners and critically-acclaimed powerhouse talents: Stephanie J. Block (The Cher Show) on January 7; Santino Fontana (Tootsie) on February 5; and Laura Benanti (Gypsy) on March 26.

Producers and co-presidents of the Prom Committee announced today that the National Tour of the 2019 Drama Desk Award winner for Outstanding Musical THE PROM will play at Overture Center for the Arts from Tuesday, March 22 through Sunday, March 27.

Benanti will play Jane, a struggling mother, in the new series written, directed, executive produced, and starring Amy Schumer. The series follows Beth, whose life appears to be perfect until a sudden incident forces her to confront her past. The two previously appeared on Broadway together in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower.

Inspired by Disney’s animated classic, this retelling, directed by Robert Zemeckis, combines live action and visual effects and stars Tom Hanks, Cynthia Erivo, Luke Evans and the voices of Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Keegan-Michael Key and Lorraine Bracco.
