Winners of the 64th Annual Obie Awards were announced this evening in a ceremony held at New York City's Terminal 5.

The American Theatre Wing and The Village Voice announce that Artistic Director of New York Theatre Workshop, James C. Nicola, and Artistic Director and founder of Theatre For A New Audience, Jeffrey Horowitz, will receive special Obie Awards for Lifetime Achievement at the 64th Annual Obie Awards, which will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Terminal 5 (610 West 56th Street).

This week marks the thirteenth anniversary of the opening night of the Tony Award-winning musical The Drowsy Chaperone at Broadway's Marquis Theatre! To celebrate the occasion, we're throwing it back to the show's opening night featuring Broadway favorites including Sutton Foster and 2019 Tony Award nominee Beth Leavel. The acclaimed Broadway revival of Mark Medoff's Children of a Lesser God plays its final performance at Studio 54 tonight, Sunday, May 27, 2018.

Producer Hal Luftig announced today that co-producer Nyle DiMarco will host a talkback for the audience at Children of a Lesser God today, May 15, following the 7:00pm show. DiMarco will join the cast immediately following the performance for a moderated discussion and an opportunity for audience members to ask questions. The talkback will happen on stage and is open to any ticketholder for that evening's performance.

"Children of a Lesser God," the award-winning play about a deaf woman and her teacher, is back on Broadway. Megyn Kelly TODAY welcomes stars Lauren Ridloff and Joshua Jackson, who reveal how Ridloff, who was born deaf, landed the role. Jackson also comments on what may happen next on his TV series "The Affair."
