JOB, the world premiere of a new play by Max Wolf Friedlich, starring Peter Friedman and Sydney Lemmon has extended its critically acclaimed run.

Tony nominee Peter Friedman (Ragtime, “Succession,” Single White Female) and Sydney Lemmon (TÁR, “Helstrom,” 'Succession') will star in the world premiere of JOB by Max Wolf Friedlich (SleepOver), directed by Michael Herwitz (Mr. Parker).

New Artistic Associates include Cordelia Dewdney (Moby Dick, Hard Times), Wendy Mateo (Big Lake Big City, Beyond Caring), costume designer Sully Ratke (Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas) and Matthew C. Yee (Treasure Island, Moby Dick).

American Theatre's brightest young voices are part of the newly formed Independent Writers Lab, which will be hosting a reading series of four new plays at The Fountain Theatre December 3 - 5, 2019. The series will feature readings of original works from playwrights Carla Ching (Nomad Motel, Atlantic Theater Company), Bernardo Cubria (The Giant Void In My Soul, Ammunition Theater Company), Joy Gregory (The Shaggs, Playwrights Horizons), and Charlotte Miller (Thieves, Rising Phoenix Rep/Rattlestick).

Deadline reports that Freeform is developing a new music drama. 'Demo' will be produced by The Chainsmokers and written by Joy Gregory.
