Zoe Van Tieghem Brings GENERATION Z, A Cabaret, to The Duplex

Primal Productions presents Zoë Van Tieghem in Generation Z on September 14th, 2019. In her Duplex debut, Zoë Van Tieghem will perform musical theater songs sung by characters she will (probably) never play...and maybe a few she will. Zoë has performed at Feinstein's/54Below, Le Poisson Rouge, Naked Angels Tuesdays@9, Postmarked Cafe, and opened for Debbie Harry at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, NY. Zoë Van Tieghem in Generation Z plays The Duplex Cabaret Theatre (61 Christopher Street) on September 14th. There is a $15-$20 cover charge and a two beverage minimum.

Directed by 2018 Leo Shull Musical Theatre Directing Fellow Kemar Jewel, with music direction by Josh Kight at New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street). Helen Hayes nominee N'Kenge (Motown: The Musical, Sondheim and Sondheim) will play the title role of a presentation of a new musical DOROTHY, produced by Richard Bell (Bubbling Brown Sugar) with book, music & lyrics by award-winning playwright/composer Robert Mitchell (Vincent, Frankenstein), featuring musical direction by Josh Kight. A private first-act developmental reading of the new musical adaptation of 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' will be presented May 23rd at 3pm at the MTC Studios, and May 24th at 7pm in Stephen Schwartz's ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop. Originally developed in the BMI Workshop (A Chorus Line, Ragtime, Avenue Q) by Gregory Bonsignore (Book/Lyrics) and Aaron Kenny (Music), it will be directed by Michael Berresse (Obie winner, Title of Show, Golden Apple).

On Monday, March 13, 2017, A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio for kids and teens, proudly presented the 'MY FAVORITE THINGS' Cabaret at the historic Triad Theatre. Talented young singers, ages 7-18, presented songs from their favorite Broadway musicals. A portion of the proceeds were donated to The enCourage Kids Foundation, a charity that encourages all kids facing health challenges to be carefree kids. Scroll down for photos!
