LGBTQ+ musical theatre company Chromatic Creative announced the launch of Dorothy and Her Very Many Friends: a synth-pop opera about the persecution of gay sailors in 1980s America.

According to new reports, Tony Winners Rachel Bay Jones and Danny Burstein will star alongside newcomer Ana Sharp in an independent film from Laura Somers called Rise and Shine. Based on a true story, the film follows Janice Steele and her daughter Terri who makes the transition from homeschool to public school. Janice, who was born with cerebral palsy and a developmental delay, inspires those around her in this new environment with her positivity.

Exploring identity, family, and desire, AIGA is a show that ebbs, flows, dips forward into the wicked and tilts back toward the heavenly as we traverse through the experience of Lusi's beautiful and complex life story. Using music, movement and dramedy AIGA chronologically captures Lusi’s life from youth into adulthood, from 1960's Samoa, to the warrior that we bear witness to today.

The Polyphonic Spree have released their highly anticipated, eighth studio album, 'Salvage Enterprise,' The album features nine original compositions and is described as the band's most vulnerable work to date. The band has also announced upcoming live shows and a free pop-up listening experience in Dallas.
