ACME (American Contemporary Music Ensemble) will perform a free concert at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St., NYC) on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 7pm presented by online contemporary classical community Sequenza21.com and the Manhattan New Music Project. The works to be performed were selected through an open call for scores by ACME artistic director Clarice Jensen, composer and Sequenza21 senior editor Christian Carey, and composer Hayes Biggs.

ROGER, THE CHICKEN is a four-part comedy centering on an eccentric hipster named Roger who dresses like a chicken. Yeah, he's that cool. Join Roger (played by writer/creator Matthew-Lee Erlbach) as he struggles to find success in his relationship, stand up career, and 'day jobs,' while navigating his way through a world with its own set of social conventions. 'Part One: Therapy' is already up online at www.RogertheChicken.com and youtube.com/RogerChicken. Part two premieres Sunday, July 3, with the following parts premiering on the next two Sundays.

Indiana University's Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs has announced the winners of the Fran Snygg Grant for Artistic Collaboration and the Fran Snygg Endowment Fund. This year's recipients are Elizabeth Shea, Gwendolyn Hamm, and Selene Carter from the Department of Kinesiology at the Indiana University School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER), and George Pinney from the Department of Theater & Drama in the College of Arts & Sciences.
