Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta has announced that 10-time Tony Award® winning and 2020 Grammy® nominated MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL, the Tony® and Grammy®-winning Best Musical HADESTOWN and the record-breaking WICKED will lead the 2022/2023 season at the Fox Theatre.

Producers Carmen Pavlovic and Bill Damaschke announced today that Natalie Mendoza, Tony Award winner Aaron Tveit, Tam Mutu and Ricky Rojas will play their final performance in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

The evening will feature performances and remarks by Norm Lewis, Heidi Blickenstaff, Joshua Henry, Tom Kitt, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Tyler Bunch, Scott Richards, Paulette Haupt, Ellie Ellsworth and others.  

When the world premiere production of Swept Away, with music and lyrics by The Avett Brothers, concluded its third extension at Berkeley Rep on Sunday, March 13, fans had traveled to see the show from every state in the nation, as well as from eight different countries around the world.

The North American Tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Moulin Rouge! The Musical begins performances tonight, Saturday, March 19 in at the James M. Nederlander Theatre in Chicago. In a spirited dueling of minds that plays off the tropes of romantic comedy, Indian Summer explores what connection is, romantic and otherwise. The play features Spencer Gonzalez, Clara Napolitano, Haythem Noor, and Julian Socha.

Originally by Elton John, the song is one of the many popular songs covered in the musical. Moulin Rouge!
