The Rev Theatre Company launches its 2021 season with the smash hit 42nd Street. The show runs June 30 – July 28 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Emerson Park.

The State Theatre Center for the Arts, Easton, PA, has announced its 2021-2022 Season, the 95th season at the historic venue.  Tickets for the new season will go on sale to State Theatre Members on Monday, August 2nd, and to the general public on Monday, August 9th.

Theatre By The Sea's owner and producer Bill Hanney, who recently announced the return of entertainment at the historic seaside playhouse, has announced the addition of three new concerts.

Ahead of the start of the 38th Season, Theatre Aspen announced today that after a successful first flight, the organization will present its second annual one-person show festival, Solo Flights, as the third act of this year’s summer season, August 25 – 31, 2021 at the Hurst Theatre in Aspen, Colorado.

On June 30th, The REV Theatre Company reopens its historic flagship venue, the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, with the song and dance spectacular, 42nd Street. The show marks the company's return to live performances and runs through July 28 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Emerson Park. The Utah Symphony today released a schedule of 25 live concerts in 12 cities throughout Utah for summer 2021. The orchestra performs along the Wasatch Front as part of its annual Summer Community Concert Series, in Park City for the 17th Deer Valley Music Festival and in rural communities near iconic locations to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Utah for the Forever Mighty Tour.

The 2021 “Broadway In The Finger Lakes” season will open with 42nd Street -- a tap extravaganza that tells the story of Broadway struggling to survive during a crisis – the Great Depression -- and a young new star in a new show determined to reignite the lights of Broadway and the careers of its company.

Broadway actor Nicholas Rodriguez will perform his solo concert titled The First Time… as part of the “Broadway Outside the Barn” series at Holmdel Theatre Company on April 24. Award-winning Broadway, TV, film actor and recording artist, Nicholas Rodriguez, explores life, love and longing through an intimate evening featuring new interpretations of songs from the world of pop, jazz, folk and musical theatre. Renowned vocalist, pilot, best-selling author, psychologist and theater producer Judy Whitmore has released the music video for her new single, a reimagination of 'Moonlight in Vermont,' featuring live performance footage and animation that transport listeners to more tranquil times. 

During a recent “family meeting” of BDT Stage  employees over Zoom, Artistic Producer Michael J. Duran raised a glass and exuberantly  declared the theatre would reopen April 2, 2021, “Intermission is over! It is time for everyone  to please return to your seats.”

Holmdel Theatre Company will kick off their 2021 Broadway Outside the Barn series with NICHOLAS RODRIGUEZ: The First Time... on Saturday, April 24th at 7 PM ET. Making his Holmdel debut, the Broadway actor (Tarzan) will perform his acclaimed solo show to a socially distanced audience outside the Duncan Smith Theater.

Lively McCabe Entertainment and CuzBro Productions – the production company founded by Brian Kelley of the multi-platinum, award-winning duo Florida Georgia Line – will world premiere the musical MAY WE ALL in June 2022 as a special presentation of Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s Broadway at TPAC series.

Greensboro Symphony Orchestra has announced its upcoming lineup for 2021-22, including performances returning to The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts for the first time since last year.

When the theater's 2021 season comes to a close, Artistic Director Greg Vinkler will step down from administrative duties and retire. Linda Fortunato, a dedicated company member of 17 seasons at Peninsula Players, has been appointed associate artistic director and will work alongside Vinkler throughout the 2021 season.
