The 2018 Los Angeles Animation Festival has awarded writer/director John Meyer with the Best Story award for The Magical Mystery of Musigny.

On Thursday, December 13th, Frank 'Fraver' Verlizzo will discuss his 5 decades as Broadway's award-winning theatrical poster designer with Broadway World's Richard Ridge in the Bruno Walter auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. Verlizzo, known as 'FRAVER,' is the author of the best-selling FRAVER BY DESIGN: Five Decades of Theatre Post Art from Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Beyond which was published in May by Schiffer Publishing. The book includes over 250 of his theatre poster designs from Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional and international productions. The Lincoln Center Library event begins at 6 pm and admission is free.

Actor / comedian Rhonda 'Passion' Hansome, (SiriusXM "John Fugelsang's Tell Me Everything" podcast) will be among the performers featured at the "Women Of A Certain Age" (WOACA) comedy showcase of "female comics who tell it like it is" on Wednesday, December 5th in Manhattan.

On Saturday, Dec. 1, Chicago's legendary comedy theatre The Second City will appear at Overture Center for the Arts in downtown Madison at 8 p.m. Madison native Terrence Carey will return to his hometown for the one-night-only performance.

The Slipper Room, the celebrated variety theatre in Manhattan's Lower East Side, has announced the line-up for their Fall season through the New Year, presenting a full calendar of regular weekly in-house productions in addition to guest shows, concerts and one-nighters.

Brian Evans, the singer known for his music videos 'At Fenway,' with William Shatner, and 'Creature at The Bates Motel,' which features comedian Carrot Top, will release his new sports-themed song, 'The Beautiful Game,' on Oct. 2, 2018.
