Porter has stated that it has been a career-long goal to bring Baldwin's story to the big screen. Baldwin's work includes 'Go Tell It on the Mountain,' 'If Beale Street Could Talk,' and more.

Hennepin Theatre Trust has announced that Grammy, Emmy, and twice Tony Award-winning singer, composer, director, author, actor, and playwright Billy Porter will bring his BLACK MONA LISA TOUR: VOLUME 1 to Minneapolis on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

GRAMMY, EMMY, and twice Tony Award-winning singer, composer, director, author, actor, and playwright Billy Porter will embark on the BLACK MONA LISA TOUR: VOLUME 1, kicking off next month. 

The release is accompanied by the music video for “Freezing,” one of the new tracks off the record. Directed by Drew Kirsch, the stunning visual brings the lyrics to life as Mimi journeys through the process of leaving her past relationship, rediscovering her happiness, and moving forward with confidence.

Acoustic guitars form the gentle underbelly of the track, which celebrates finding joy in relationships during turbulent times. Ethereal vocal harmonies between Sam and Amy are the star attraction and the song bolsters Sam’s momentum as an artist to watch for the year ahead.

Mimi Webb releases “Roles Reversed,' the new track off her forthcoming debut album. Mimi’s vocals are filled with emotion as she takes the listener on a journey of hurt and being left behind. The song was written by Mimi Webb, Connor McDonough, Riley McDonough, Toby McDonough, Ryan Daly, CASTLE and produced by Connor McDonough & Ryan Daly.

Now based between LA and London, he  not only has received acclaim for his own work, Fischer  continues to solidify his spot as one of the hottest current writers, having worked with  global pop superstars including  Ciara,  Cat Burns, Lennon Stella,  Louis Tomlinson,  Elle King,  Jessie J, Virginia To Vegas  and many more.

Mimi has announced The Amelia Tour, the 2023 headline tour will make stops across Europe and the UK following the release of her debut album.
