Bristol Riverside Theatre continues its One Night Stand series with two iconic comedians, Louie Anderson and Robert Klein. Louie Anderson performs twice on Saturday, May 25. Robert Klein performs once on Friday, May 31.

The Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot will hold a gala honoring the contributions of Jews to the world of comedy and celebrating its hugely popular, critically-acclaimed exhibit, "Let There Be Laughter - Jewish Humor Around the World," on Monday, Dec. 17 at the Mandarin Oriental New York (80 Columbus Circle). The Madison Square Garden Company (NYSE: MSG) and the Garden of Dreams Foundation are proud to announce the return of Garden of Laughs - the successful bi-annual all-star comedy benefit that has raised nearly $5 million for the charity since its inception. This year's show, hosted by Steve Schirripa, will include performances by Jerry Seinfeld along with Bill Burr, Michael Che, Tiffany Haddish, John Mulaney, Brian Regan and Jon Stewart, and will take place at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 8:00 p.m., with all net proceeds going directly to Garden of Dreams.

A glorious holiday tradition returns to Worcester when The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts presents its annual production of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, Thanksgiving weekend, November 23 through November 25. RBTL's Auditorium Theatre and JS Touring announced today that America's premier comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, will return to the Auditorium Theatre stage on Friday, April 19 at 7:00pm. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 16 at 10:00am EST.

America's premier comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, comes to Eventim Apollo, London, his first U.K. shows in 8 years to perform his signature stand-up routine in July 2019. On Wednesday, November 7th, DPAC welcomed its "Special 4 Millionth Guest." The winner, Dawn Bland of Durham, was nominated for this honor based on her significant contributions to the Triangle community.

JFS Desert is proud to present an incredible afternoon with Emmy® Award winning comedy writer and stand-up comic Monica Piper for one performance only. This dynamic comedian who has written for Roseanne, Mad About You, Veronica's Closet and was the head writer of the #1 children's animated series Rugrats will perform her One Woman Show Sunday, November 11 at 3:00 p.m. The American Comedy Awards deemed her one of the top five female comics in America. She has opened for Jerry Seinfeld, Gloria Estefan, Neil Sedaka and The Smothers Brothers. I had the chance to catch up with Ms. Piper as she was preparing to make her way to Palm Springs for her show this weekend. Here are a few excerpts from that interview:
