When Ben Jones decided to go out and do his premiere NYC solo show, he didn't mess around: he got to work, and the work paid off.

THERESE LEE  makes her New York debut with her new show, RIDING THE BUS TO THE RED CARPET.  In it, she recalls her days in Los Angeles as an entertainment reporter too broke to own a car, and shares what her interactions with some of Hollywood's biggest stars during that time did to change her life forever. 

The Broadway League has announced 45 participating Regional Awards Programs for the 13th annual Jimmy Awards® which will take place on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 7:30pm at Broadway’s Minskoff Theatre.

Pioneer Theatre Company has cast Broadway actress, and Emmy-nominated television host, PAIGE DAVIS as Dolly Gallagher Levi in the upcoming musical production HELLO, DOLLY!. The record-setting Broadway musical will be the professional regional theatre's closing musical for the current season, and will run from May 13 through May 28, 2022.

On Sunday, March 20, 2022, Encompass New Opera Theatre, The Board of Trustees and The Encompass Honorary Gala Chairs, Sheldon Harnick and Maury Yeston will pay tribute to Legendary Theatrical Icon and Tony Award-winning luminaries, CHITA RIVERA and DANNY BURSTEIN, with a star-studded musical salute.

In the almost 60 years since its Broadway premiere in 1963, Jerry Herman’s classic musical HELLO, DOLLY! has been performed countless times, in countless theatres by countless companies all with a common goal – share the exuberant tale of the indefatigable matchmaker Dolly Gallagher Levi and her quest to sow love in the hearts of the people of turn-of-the-century New York. And through its current production of this stalwart classic, The Henegar Center hits all the right notes, gets all the expected laughs, and delivers a fresh, fun and lively night of classic musical theatre for Melbourne audiences.

Featuring Jane Monheit and Dave Koz, the album includes a simmering take on Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Bali Ha’i” (South Pacific), an inventive reworking of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s “I’d Be Surprisingly Good For You” (Evita), and a pensive exploration of Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin’s “Maybe” (Annie). BIRDLAND will present the return of Klea Blackhurst: “One of the Girls: the Words and Music of Jerry Herman” on Monday, February 21 at 7:00 PM. After a hit engagement at the venue last fall, Blackhurst will bring back her salute to the beloved songwriter for one night only.

Sargent Aborn, long-serving CEO of Tams-Witmark, will retire at the end of this month to spend more time with his family. He has spent over 40 years with the company.

Broadway Records announced today the release of “The Four Phantoms In Concert”.  The digital album is available Friday, January 14th wherever digital music is sold. Preorders are now available for the physical CD to be released late this winter.
