Chance Theater will present the stage adaptation of the globally beloved 'Tiny Beautiful Things,” based on the book by Cheryl Strayed and adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos.

Opera Naples, one of Naples’ leading performing arts organizations, has announced tickets on sale for W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan’s popular operetta, “Iolanthe,” starring students from its Summer Youth Program. Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m., July 22, and 2 p.m., July 23, at the Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church at the Pulte Life Center in Naples.

California Repertory Company (CalRep) has announced the Spring 2023 season.  A shipwreck, a furtive disguise, and some quite stylish yellow stockings, William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night,” opens the season with a comedic bang.

The cult-classic ode to science fiction and B-Horror movies of the 1930’s to 1960’s, The Rocky Horror Show, books, music, and lyrics by Richard O’Brien and directed by Jennifer Richardson, will open at the CSULB Studio Theater on Thursday, November 3rd, at 7:30 p.m. Performances will continue through Saturday, November 12th at 7:30 p.m.   

Nominees for the inaugural OC Theatre Awards were announced on Saturday, January 22, 2022 during OC Theatre Guild’s annual membership meeting. The awards ceremony has been scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the outdoor amphitheater of the Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton.

Singer/actress/songwriter/author/teacher Harriet Schock has had an incredible career in composing for TV and film. She still performs in live concerts around the globe, gives master classes in songwriting and is lauded for her great skill and humanity in writing songs that resonate with the human spirit. 'Ain't No Way to Treat a Lady' and 'First Time on a Ferris Wheel' are but two of her magnificent hit pop songs. In our conversation she really digs deep to help us understand and feel the songwriting process.

Versatile and popular singer Pat Whiteman and Grammy-nominated songwriter and recording artist Harriet Schock will debut a new show on Thursday, May 19 at the E Spot Lounge in Studio City. When a show moves me like this one did, it's worth raving about. Minus the bombardment of glitz and flash so often shoe-horned into modern day musicals, the remount of Open Fist Theatre Company's James Joyce's THE DEAD is instead that rare production that breathes life into our hearts with its singular connection to our humanity.

A picturesque network of hamlets, villages, and market towns in southwest England, the Cotswolds is well known for its honey-colored stone cottages, stately homes, and stunning scenery. Jennifer Richardson-travel writer and author of Americashire: A Field Guide to a Marriage (She Writes Press/ May 2013)-spent three years living in the heart of the Cotswolds, after she and her British husband bought a two-hundred-year-old cottage, hoping for an escape from their London lives.
