Versatile and popular singer Pat Whiteman and Grammy-nominated songwriter and recording artist Harriet Schock will debut a new show on Thursday, May 19 at the E Spot Lounge in Studio City. Gary Lynn Floyd will serve as special guest along with a substantial band including Joe Lamanno on bass, Jennifer Richardson on cello, Andrea Ross-Green and Barbara Shane on background vocals, Scott Breadman on percussion, Kelly De Sarla on flute and Brad Blaisdell on harmonica.

Schock is best known for her Grammy-nominated song "Ain't No Way to Treat a Lady" recorded by Helen Reddy. She has also written for a variety of other artists including Johnny Mathis, Smokey Robinson, Robert Flack, Manfred Mann, as well as TV and film.

Ms. Whiteman is a popular performer on the Los Angeles cabaret and club scene performing in shows at Rockwell Table and Stage, Vitello's, Don't Tell Mama's, The Federal and McCabe's.

She is just months out from her latest show "A Whiteman Sampler", directed by Jason Graae with musical direction by John Boswell, which sold out in its debut at the Gardenia in Hollywood.

BroadwayWorld says: "Whiteman's voice is akin to that of Maureen McGovern: it is richly riveting like fine silk. She is definitely a singer's singer, the perfect interpreter of the composer's intent, and lending an unforgettably individual style."

The E-Spot Lounge is located at 4349 Tujunga Avenue in Studio City. There is a $20 cover charge and two-item minimum. Reservations are highly recommended and may be made online at espotlounge.com or by calling 818-769-0905.
