From the minds of Steve Martin, Dan Fogelman and John Hoffman comes a comedic murder-mystery series for the ages. Only Murders In The Building follows three strangers (Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one.
The Humans was adapted from the Tony winning play of the same name. It’s written/directed by Stephen Karam, who helmed the play as well. The cast includes Beanie Feldstein, Richard Jenkins, Amy Schumer, Steven Yeun, June Squibb and Jayne Houdyshell. It’s a tense, intimate and occasionally funny drama with a haunting undertone throughout.
The upcoming Broadway revival, directed by Michael Mayer, will come to Broadway in spring 2022, at a theatre to be announced. Read more about all we know so far here!
The play opened on Broadway in 2016 after an off-Broadway engagement at Roundabout Theatre Company. It won the Tony Award for Best Play; Reed Birney and Jayne Houdyshell took home acting awards, and David Zinn won for best scenic design.
