Dorset Theatre Festival has announced full casting for the World Premiere of Still by Lia Romeo, which will begin performances at the Dorset Playhouse on July 21, 2023.

BSMS has announced the five stage managers receiving the 2023 Charlie Blackwell Symposium Scholarships for BIPOC stage managers.

Applications are now open for stage managers of color to apply for scholarships to the Broadway Stage Management Symposium (BSMS). In partnership with Broadway Stage Managers, Narda E. Alcorn, Lisa Dawn Cave, Beverly Jenkins, Kenneth J. McGee, & Cody Renard Richard, five scholarships for stage managers of color will be awarded for the annual professional development and networking conference for stage managers.

The 9th annual Broadway Stage Management Symposium will be held on Saturday, May 20th – Sunday, May 21st, 2023 in a truly hybrid event bringing together stage managers in New York City and Online.

Producing Artistic Director Kristen van Ginhoven, Managing Director Molly Merrihew, and the WAM team will present a special one-night-only benefit cabaret at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington, MA. hosted by Tony Award and Drama Desk Nominee Jayne Atkinson (House of Cards, Criminal Minds, Bluff City Law).

BSMS has announced the five stage managers receiving the 2022 Charlie Blackwell Symposium Scholarships for BIPOC stage managers and welcome them to the professional development and networking conference made by stage managers, for stage managers, featuring Broadway's stage managers.

Participating in the “Our Town at the Playhouse” panel will be Howard Sherman, author; Anne Keefe, current Playhouse associate artist, and former associate artistic director with Joanne Woodward at the time of the Playhouse’s 2002 production of “Our Town”; and Jake Robards, who appeared in the Playhouse production. 

Williamstown Theatre Festival announced today that the 2021 WTF Gala will take place virtually on Wednesday, April 7. BroadwayWorld has learned that online rumors about a Broadway revival of Our Town are true. Producer Scott Rudin has plans to bring Thornton Wilder's play back to Broadway for the first time since 2002. Rudin has tapped Tony winner Bartlett Sher (To Kill a Mockingbird) to direct the play, which will be led by Dustin Hoffman, who last appeared on Broadway in 1990. A timeline for the production remains unknown.

At an SRO ceremony held at Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, the Board of the Berkshire Theatre Critics Association (BTCA) presented the Berkshire Theatre Awards on the evening of Monday, November 11, 2019.
