The Paley Center for Media will present A Salute to Black Achievements in Television Presented by Citi from February 1-March 1. “Live in Front of a Studio Audience: 'All in the Family' and 'Good Times'” adds even more star power to the highly anticipated live sitcom holiday special airing on ABC, WEDNESDAY, DEC. 18 (8:00-9:32 p.m. EST). In this one-night-only event, an all-star lineup of talent will tackle the roles first portrayed in the iconic television sitcom “Good Times,” including Viola Davis and Andre Braugher as Florida Evans and James Evans, Jay Pharoah as J.J Evans, Asante Blackk as Michael Evans, Corinne Foxx as Thelma Evans and Tiffany Haddish recreating the role of Willona Woods. Jharrel Jerome is also confirmed to join the star-studded cast. Joining forces for a show-stopping musical performance will be ABC's Anthony Anderson and the legendary Patti LaBelle. AEG Presents announced today The LIT AF Tour, hosted by Martin Lawrence, will embark on another nationwide tour in 2020. The 25+ date tour will kick off on Friday, January 31, 2020 in Washington, D.C. at the Capital One Arena and conclude on Saturday, May 30, 2020 in Honolulu, Hawai'i. In 1995, a group of writers, directors and actors gathered on Manhattan's Lower East Side for what was supposed to be a one-time only event: write, direct, produce and perform new plays within the span of 24 hours. Twenty-four years later, The 24 Hour Plays and The 24 Hour Musicals are regularly performed around the world, touching everyone from celebrities to student artists and raising millions of dollars for charities. Today, The 24 Hour Plays announced that they'll mark their anniversary with an intimate production of The 24 Hour Musicals on Monday, June 17th at 8 PM on the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center.
