The York Theatre Company, has announced the cast and creative team for its first Musicals in Mufti offering of 2023: How to Steal an Election: A Dirty Politics Musical, with music and lyrics by Oscar Brand and book by William F. Brown.

A new musical The Right Is Ours! will have its world premiere engagement of a new musical at Sierra Madre Playhouse. 

Delightfully charming but also now slightly dated, MTW's expectedly family-friendly, colorfully saturated production is indeed a lovely, mostly entertaining stage recreation of the movie classic. But curiously, at times, the show feels subdued and tamed-down, and in dire need of an extra jolt of energy to match the story’s wildly madcap, campy premise.
