Gingold Theatrical Group (David Staller, Artistic Director) will continue the 14th Season of Project Shaw, Art as Activism: A Theatrical Survival Guide, a special series of evenings of plays that embrace human rights and free speech. All of GTG's programming, inspired by the works of George Bernard Shaw, are designed to provoke peaceful discussion and activism.

The production will star two actors in the title role. Maia Reficco, award-winning Argentine actor and recording artist, will play Eva age 15 - 20, and Solea Pfeiffer (Almost Famous, Hamilton), last seen at City Center in Songs for a New World, will play Eva age 20 - 33. The cast will also feature Jason Gotay as Che, Enrique Acevedo as Perón and Philip Hernandez as Magaldi.

Muny Magic At The Sheldon Will Star Mikaela Bennett and Jason Gotay

The Muny has announced that Broadway talents and Muny audience favorites Mikaela Bennett and Jason Gotay will headline the eighth installment of its off-season concert series, Muny Magic at The Sheldon, November 5 and 6 at 7:30 p.m. Bennett and Gotay were recently seen on stage in the highest-attended production of The Muny's 101st Season, Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella. Bennett played the angelically spunky Ella and Gotay the irresistibly charming Prince Topher. Gotay has starred in The Muny's productions of The Little Mermaid (Prince Eric), Mamma Mia! (Sky) and Into the Woods (Jack). The enchanting evening will be music directed by frequent Muny music director Charlie Alterman. New York Youth Symphony Announces Its 57th Season Of Concerts And Venues

New York Youth Symphony (NYYS), is proud to continue its mission of educating and inspiring young musicians through its Orchestra, Jazz, Chamber Music, Composition, Musical Theater Composition, Apprenticeship Conducting, and First Music commissioning programs. This season includes seven world premieres of new works commissioned through the First Music program, composed for the Orchestra, Jazz, and Chamber Music ensembles. The season also features renowned and up-and-coming soloists including prodigy pianist Harmony Zhu, 2019 Sphinx Competition winner cellist Sterling Elliott, and leading young pianist Michelle Cann in the Carnegie Hall premiere of Florence Price's recently re-discovered Piano Concerto in One Movement with NYYS Orchestra, as well as in-demand drummer Matt Wilson, celebrated saxophonist Steve Wilson, and trombone virtuoso Wycliffe Gordon with NYYS Jazz.
