Symphony Space's PROJECT BROADWAY Kicks Off Tonight with Judy Kuhn

Symphony Space's fourth annual PROJECT BROADWAY begins tonight featuring a week of programs from April 22 - April 29. The series this year honors the women who have written, performed in, and inspired some of the great works of the American musical.

Taylor Louderman, Will Swenson, Mamie Parris, Ann Harada, Jason Gotay, Laura Michelle Kelly and More Announced For THE MUNY's 101st Season

BroadwayWorld has learned that The Muny announced today 25 principal cast members for the first season of its second century. Complete company casting will be announced throughout April and May. The 101st season opens on a brand new, state-of-the-art stage with Muny favorite Guys and Dolls followed by the U.S. regional premiere of Kinky Boots. The season continues with 1776, Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella, Footloose and a newly-reimagined Lerner and Loewe's Paint Your Wagon. Season 101 closes with the highly-anticipated Muny debut of Roald Dahl's Matilda.

On Monday night, sixteen Broadway stars were featured in Broadway Sings Adele, the latest concert in the Broadway Sings series. The tribute concerts take the music of well-known music icons and create new, unique arrangements and orchestrations by twisting the style to fit the strength of the performer. Previous concerts have included Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, and Rihanna. This summer, the Sony Hall series will continue with Broadway Sings Ariana Grande.

Isaac Powell, Kate Rockwell, and More Join Broadway Sings Adele

Broadway talents including Mallory Bechtel (Dear Evan Hansen), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), Isaac Powell (Once on This Island), and Kate Rockwell (Mean Girls) complete the lineup for the next installment of the acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series, honoring the English singer-songwriter Adele. Current cast members from Broadway shows including Come From Away, King Kong, and The Book of Mormon will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of the award winning singer, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations of her music.

Final casting for the Encores! production of Call Me Madam as part of City Center's 75th Anniversary Season has been announced. Jason Gotay (Kenneth Gibson), Darrell Hammond (Grand Duke Otto), and Randy Rainbow(Sebastian Sebastian), join the previously announced cast featuring Carmen Cusack, Ben Davis, Adam Heller, Carol Kane, Stanley Wayne Mathis, Brad Oscar, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Lauren Worsham.
